Anita Barone

Barone appeared in the fourth-season Seinfeld episode The Shoes as Gail Cunningham Chef who was seeking Elaine Benes shoes. Barone was cast on Carol & Company, starring with Carol Burnett in the early 1990s. Barone was also Carol Willick Ross Geller's ex wife in the character's first appearance in Friends. Jane Sibbett was her replacement following Barone's departure from Friends to pursue a role that demanded longer time. She appeared in The Jeff Foxworthy Show in its first season (from 1995-1996) Then she appeared on The War at Home between 2005 to 2007. Barone has also been a guest on Daddio the sitcom which premiered in 2000. The other credits on television include Desperate Housewives Curb Your Enthusiasm Quantum Leap Empty Nest Chicago Hope Castle Do Not Disturb Ally McBeal Caroline in the City Party of Five and The Larry Sanders Show. Barone was awarded her Methodfest Best Supporting Actress Award 2004 in recognition of her work in the film One Last Ride. Barone's role as a regular in Shake It Up Disney Channel show Shake It Up started in 2010 just three years after The War at Home finished its running. She played Officer Georgia Jones, the mother of Bella Thorne's CeCe Jones. Matthew Glave, Barone's husband and actor Matthew Glave guest starred as J.J. Jones in two episodes.
